Granny thought she was buying a small horse whose fastest gait would be a very slow walk. She should have looked for a horse with one foot in the grave! Beau, a cute 18-year-old Haflinger gelding standing at 13.3 hands turned out to be athletic, forward, and very responsive, not a good match for a timid and elderly Granny. He is an energetic and healthy guy with strong hooves and is currently barefoot. Smart and very responsive to training particularly if horse treats are available for good behavior. He enjoys trail obstacles including the tall bridge, cowboy curtain, rocking bridge, water feature, and platform and has been ridden on the trail in the state park. He loads himself easily into a trailer without drama. He is very junior in a herd environment. His teeth were floated recently, and he is up to date on vaccinations and worming. PPE are welcomed. Beau would love to have his very own teen or young adult rider and wants to please. Located in Dexter, OR
