"Arwen" Bay Mare Morgan

13 year old Morgan/Belgian Cross mare, 14hh.

Arwen is a sweet, sturdy mare looking for a new home. She is an experienced driving horse and pulls a cart nicely and has continued to be driven off and on in recent years.

She stands quietly for grooming, tacking, bathing, the vet and the farrier. She loads and trailers well, has good ground manners, and is easy to catch out in a field. She is used to kids, small animals, and other horses.

Arwen has been ridden western and has experience in both the arena and on trails. She walks, trots, and canters, and does well with lounging. She can sometimes be sticky with her feet or test her rider when being ridden, so she would probably be better suited for someone who is a consistent and confident rider. She is a quick learner and rides nicely with regular work. She is good riding in both wooded trails and in fields.
