Apollo – 16.1H, 9-Year-Old Thoroughbred/Arabian/Paint Gelding

This handsome 16.1-hand Thoroughbred/Arabian/Paint gelding is looking for a loving new home as our daughter prepares to leave for college.

Apollo has a kind, affectionate personality and truly loves being around people. He will follow you around the barn like a puppy dog, greet you at the gate every time, and is always hoping for a treat or a scratch on the neck. Whether you’re heading out for a trail ride or simply spending time in the barn, Apollo enjoys being your companion. He would make a wonderful partner for someone interested in hunters, dressage, cross-country, pleasure riding, or simply having a horse that enjoys a strong bond with his person. Apollo is not suited to a beginner; he can be a little sensitive and responsive under saddle, so an intermediate rider is recommended. He loves trail rides, is comfortable in new environments, and has always been a willing and honest partner.

Apollo is an easy keeper and does well either stalled or turned out. He gets along well with other horses, is low maintenance, and is easy to handle on the ground. He ties, cross-ties, bathes, loads, and stands quietly for the farrier and veterinarian.

Apollo is barefoot with excellent feet, clean-legged, and has never taken a lame step. He is healthy and up to date on vaccinations, dental care, and Coggins.

Apollo has given our daughter wonderful memories, and he deserves someone who will enjoy his sweet personality, kind nature, and willingness to be your best friend.
