Are you looking for something unique to put under the tree this Christmas? Gator is a 9 year old crossbred gelding that stands 14.2hh and the coolest dun color and striking face markings! Gator has a sport horse look to him with his athletic but strong build gorgeous thick neck and perfect round rump. He is quiet, FUN and just all around a good boy. Gator rides English and western and has even been started in harness to drive. Gator stands on ties to be groomed and saddled, is good for hoof picking and the farrier and is also behaved for the vet. Gator bathes nicely in the wash rack and is easy clip. Under saddle he rides willingly walk/trot and canter, he takes his leads, is naturally soft and collected in contact and has nice transitions. Gator is extremely comfortable to ride and would be easy for a youth or older adult to sit. He will ride in the arena or down the trail and is very quiet and confident. He can go out alone or in a large group. He has experience going on hunter paces and lots of trails- he will jump easily over natural logs and ditches as well as over man made jumps from cross rails to verticals and oxers. Gator has done obstacles from teeter totters to bridges, tarps and been ridden through rushing creek beds, deep mud and over lots of rough and rocky terrain without ever taking a misstep. He is happy to go off the beaten path and trail blaze or just pleasantly walk down the trail taking in the sights around him. Gator has experience ponying young horses down the trail and through natural obstacles like water, mud and over logs like an old pro. He is safe to ride along side other horses, or horses can ride up behind him and cut him off without an issue. He would be a very nice field trial, fox hunter, eventer, extreme trail, western dressage, play day pony and the list goes on. Gator is road safe and good with passing cars and farm equipment running around him, he has seen cows, pigs, dogs and other animals too. He loads easily into any style trailer and hauls politely anywhere, he off loads quietly and stands tied nicely to the trailer to be tacked and head out on a ride. Gator is an easy keeper, sound and has no known vices or limitations.
