Spirit is a stout built gelding standing around 14.1hh, he's 6 years old, and is a Golden Buckskin Quarter Horse that looks like he came straight off of the movie screen! He has been used around cattle from herding to sorting and pasture roping. We have used him for the kids to catch and load calves with, you can tie one to the horn and Spirit will drag it on the trailer for you. Spirit has a good stop, reins around and has a nice lope! His favorite thing to do is hit the trails and he will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough, rocky areas. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! He would make a good breakaway horse and has been tracking the roping dummy. Spirit has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
