Description

Bash is a 9 year old Friesian Warmblood cross, he’s a big guy standing at roughly 17 hands and 1,300lbs. He has the classic beautiful Friesian looks and crimped hair with a touch of feathering on his (massive) hooves. He currently is used as a trail mount but I was told from his previous owner he was used in dressage and other English events, I have not continued any of this with him so he will definitely need a tune up in that if he is going to be used for it again, but has the knowledge in there somewhere. He does excellent on trials, I just ride him in our fields, sometimes in our woods, but usually just around the yard or down the road. He is constantly exposed loud equipment/vehicles (we farm and always have tractors in and out of our drive) it, he occasionally will watch but that’s just if he’s feeling Friesian for the day. With that I personally do consider him to hot for a beginner or child to go out on alone but a confident beginner/intermediate rider will be fine. He is very very gentle around children and I always put my younger cousins and nephews on him and he does terrific, so I’m sure it would be fine but he can have his moments to where I think it would scare someone inexperienced with horses especially with how large he is. His ground manners are amazing, other than he constantly wants to be in your pocket and wants all the attention you have to offer. He loves hugs and face rubs and would be perfectly content just following you around all day. He stands for the farrier very well, loves baths (sometimes I don’t even tie him up), if he sees you coming with the grooming bag he will race to be the first one there, and is okay with loading, he has no issues with the bigger trailers but smaller ones (like mine pictured) he can be hesitant, only because he is the length of the trailer I think. He has had his annual shots and teeth float in March (everything is good) and just had his hooves done a week ago. (June 2nd). If you have any more questions or would like videos/pictures I’d be more than happy the answer/send them your way. Please TEXT me, I don’t typically look at emails super often and will respond much quicker, if you prefer a phone call that is fine but please text first as I do work during the day. To reach me (two 1seven) two7 four 8three four 4. His price can be negotiated to the right home, he doesn’t need to go but I just want him to go to someone who will use him for something. I have an old paint that is more apt for what I’m wanting and Bash is to young and beautiful to just be a pasture pet/part time trial horse. He will make someone some money I’m sure of it, and if not he will at least be a best friend. Contact HayleeCall - Click here to reveal phone number - 8344,Text or Send a Message:
