Here’s some info on him… Nelson is a 9 yr old Fjord x Welsh gelding, approx 14hh. Nelson has been used for lessons, pony rides and with our Equine Assisted Learning program. He has been ridden by beginners but can be forward and pushy under saddle so best suited for a stronger rider (someone who isn’t going to let him stop and eat) to keep him focused on his job. Has been out on trails and is a trail master supreme, hacking through fields, brush, bogs and water without issue. Has also been off property in a Santa Clause parade and did amazing! He would make an awesome Gymkhana or PPG pony as he is unflappable and has no issues having someone hang off of him.
He is a very easy keeper, as a typical Fjord, he gets fat off air. Awesome for the vet and farrier as well, he is UTD on both.
Nelson is only available as he has had enough of the lesson scene and is ready for his own person to love.
Located between Harriston and Fordwich, ON asking $7500 HST included.
