Let me introduce you to Alfie, the brokest, safest & most unique Rocky Mountain we have had to offer! This is Alfie. He is 10 years old, stands 15.1 and will weigh 1100lbs. He is beautiful in his dark chocolate color with a golden streak mane and tail! Alfie is truly special in his own way. Not only does he have the color and conformation everyone is looking for, but he also has the kindest disposition to make someone a forever dream horse! Alfie has spent numerous hours on trails, field trials & fun shows. You can ride Alfie with a bridle or bridle-less, loose rein or tight rein; it doesn’t matter. He has been ridden by beginners & trained by professionals. Being trained by professionals, he will neck rein one handed, canter on correct leads and back on command. Responds to leg cues. Stands to be mounted and dismounted on the ground or a mounting block. Does Alfie do tricks? Oh yes he does! Alfie will count, march & bow on command. While being on numerous and countless hours on the trails. Alfie has seen it all and done it all. He will cross logs, water and ditches quietly and safely. He will travel up and down hills at a safe pace and comfort for the rider. He is traffic safe as well! He has been used to pony other horses around the camps at trail rides & used to give the beginners lessons! While all this is important to all equine enthusiasts, I think the most important is that he is SAFE! Alfie is an all around family horse. From kids to any aged adult, Alfie takes care of his rider.
