Here’s a rare opportunity to own a registered Brabant. If you could take an oversized teddy bear and make it into a horse you would have Rusty Ridge Tess! We call her Tess for short. She is a true gentle giant with a heart the size of Texas! This girl is a 10-years-old and a solid 17.2hh. She has incredible bloodlines going back to Jim Van Niesenhof and Cross Timbers Andre. She has a very strong and sturdy build with a double thick mane, and more feathering on her legs than a gypsy vanner. Her tail is also to die for. This girl has done it all from camp, driving, riding in the arena, trail rides, pony rides with the kids, plowing, logging and city work! Tess is calm, level headed, and has a great disposition. She walks, trots, and canters undersaddle English or western. She’s happy to take things slow and steady or have a fun ride. Tess has extensive trail miles and loves to venture out in the woods. The thick brush, steep hills, water, wildlife are all no problem for her! Tess is game for anything you ask of her. Her ground manners are hard to beat! She leads with ease, stands to be brushed or showered, and is the first to greet you at the gate. Tess has given plenty of pony rides to the little ones and enjoys kids. She was used for many grooming demos in camp and soaked up every minute of it! She is not spooky and is the same horse day in and day out. She plays well with other horses and has been exposed to all kinds of farm animals including cows, goats, chickens, pigs, dogs, and cats. She’s been used in harness for commercial carriage rides, city work, parades, weddings and wagon rides. She will work single or double and will not shy from any activity. Tess has worked crowded events to loud parades, she’s seen it, and done it. Tess has the looks, personality, demeanor and experience that everyone desires!
