Applebee is a 15-year-old Mammoth John Mule he stands 16.3 and is 1200 pounds of fun and gentleness. He rides anywhere you would like to go on trails or in town. He is traffic safe. He has been ridden around trains, traffic, water, ditches, machinery, livestock, and he loves dogs! My grandkids ride him to and three at a time. Applebee has had beginners on him that don’t know how to ride. He will follow along on a trail ride in big groups, or he will ride down the trail by himself. Nothing scares him or shakes him up into getting in a hurry. He is as slow going as it gets! Applebee has been in parades and stays tied up all week on trail rides, he has been around wildlife & he stands like a statue to be saddled, bridled and groomed. He’s great with his feet and his ears! You can clip him with just a twine string around his neck and that includes his tail. He is the most kind, considerate, gentle giant I’ve ever been around. My grandson loves to ride him and handle him. He is only 2 1/2 years old and he calls him a dinosaur. Applebee definitely is one of a kind, he is 100% sound in every way mind body and spirit! He is excellent feet and teeth, he eats well and hauls well with other quarter horses or gaited horses. You can stand him next to a stud, mare or a gelding. He doesn’t care! He can live in a stall or in the pasture, he is maintenance free and 100% easy to catch, loads and hauls in the stock trailer or in a slant trailer. He truly has a sweet disposition & is a-gentle giant. Only reason for selling him is the grandkids need something shorter! Call John McPhail - Click here to reveal phone number - with any questions! Located in Lisbon, IA.
