Are you looking for a lifetime partner to take long walks in the woods? Gallop through the fields and just enjoy your time in the arena with? Look no further. Tyler is an 8 year old, AQHA gelding that stands 15.1 hands and weighs 1200 lbs. He is a beautiful BUCKSKIN and built like a truck. He has a calm demeanor and loving attitude. He loves to be groomed and enjoys attention.

Tyler was bred/raised and trained by the famous Weaver Ranch in Montana. They have been breeding and producing foundation Quarter Horses for over 130 years. The past three years Tyler spent his days doing daily trail rides for beginners. Tyler has carried multiple first-time riders on trail rides through rough terrain. Since Tyler has been at my barn, we have used him for lessons ages 2 and up. There not many horses I trust to let my son ride and I have complete confidence that Tyler will take care of my two-year-old little boy, Sonny. We have taken Tyler on group trail rides with over 160 plus riders as well as parades and you couldn't ask for a safer horse.

Tyler can ride in big groups, small groups, with wagons and he's packed saddle bags thousands of miles. He is trained to stand with hobbles or stay on a picket line overnight. He will ride out alone and away from the barn and be dependable. He will cross big bodies of water, steep/slippery banks, cross logs, go through mud and is traffic safe.

Not only is he great out on the trail, but Tyler rides fancy in the arena. He has a true one hand neck rein, is soft in the face, and can ride in something as simple as a halter or a D ring snaffle. He gives to the bit laterally and vertically and moves off leg pressure with ease. He has a big stop and nice turnarounds. He will side pass over logs, back through cones and open gates. Tyler has a smooth, slow jog and a rocking chair lope.

Tyler is currently shod all the way around, but he has nice dark, hard feet and would be a great candidate to go barefoot. He stands great for baths, the farrier, tacking/untacking, and mounting. He gets along with other horses in the field and is easy to catch. He also loads in and out of the trailer with ease.

Tyler makes mounting simple. He will side pass over to a log, mounting block, or picknick table with just a snap of your fingers. He will also drop his head low to make bridling easy. Don't miss out on Tyler must see video.
