Oscar is a 5yo Shire X gelding standing a bold 16 hands with the disposition of a Saint Bernard puppy. He is gentle yet responsive and always mindful of your personal space. Suitable for timid or beginner riders as well as aspiring equestrians looking to perfect their discipline.

Oscar has been trail ridden all over the state of Texas and been to multiple shows, parades, rodeos, clinics, lessons and more! He hauls like a champ and is not nervous or antsy in new environments. He has most recently been used for beginner/intermediate dressage lessons and LOVES his job!

Hacks out on the buckle and has a dreamy jog or gather him up into a powerful extended trot! Takes both leads easily and maintains gait incredibly well for his size. Has a great halt, side passes, counter arcs, circles beautifully and has plenty of athleticism to take on more challenging cues. Has been cruised through XC courses and even hunted second field!

Throw a western saddle on him and go gather cows or just tie your lead rope around and jump on him bareback! He is down for anything you can drum up!!
