LOCATION: Fredericksburg, OH

Very excited to be bringing this fun, easy to love and easy on the eyes, Bay Roan gelding we call Oscar. He is a grade quarter horse gelding that stands 14.2 hands and is 5 years old. He has been a solid trail horse his whole life and really enjoys a good adventure. We have thrown the rope off of him, cracked the bull whip and he even knows how to lay down when asked. He is one of those horses that no matter how long you let sit in the pasture, you can trust that he will always be that safe, easy to handle horse each time you get him out. He really enjoys attention and will look for you when you come down to the barn. He has three easy to ride gaits and has a very smooth jog to him and a nice rocking horse lope. He may not be the most fancy trained for the arena, but he does know his leads and will pick them up with a simple cue. He has been ridden western, English and has also gone bareback. He does not mind at all what way you would prefer to ride him. He has a kind eye and a pleasing personality. He really aims to give you what you ask and will take you safely wherever you ask him to go. He is currently wearing shoes all around because of where we ride, but he has great feet and does well for the farrier. He has really good manners on the ground and will stand quiet in the cross ties or will be great single tied as well. Oscar is a horse that you will look forward to going to see at the barn as he makes everything so relaxing. He does not have any bad habits in the barn or out. He has been stalled and pasture kept and does well anywhere we keep him. He will load great onto a trailer and come off as if he has lived at the new place his whole life. He is not a spooky horse and will ride easy down the trail and will go over bridges and will calmly walk over any creek, stream or water way. He will go where there is traffic and not get bothered.
