Leroy is as reliable, safe and trustworthy as they come! This beautiful bay gelding stands 15 hands with great bone, a size one shoe, a big pretty eye and a smooth bay color. Leroy is the perfect size to do anything you want. Leroy has been one of our most reliable horses around the ranch whether it be shipping cattle on cold, early mornings or giving lessons to the public. Leroy has been our go to mount! He is safe and sound to pack the whole family through long trail rides over thick brush or over rough, rocky terrain he is the steady Eddy in the herd! Not only has Leroy been used as a safe pleasure and trail horse, he has a full resume of doing all the ranch chores around the house. Leroy has spent many years working on a large cow/calf operation tagging and sorting calves, as well as tending to cattle in the feedlot. Leroy is as trustworthy as they come when it comes to a safe, working by yourself type mount! During the spring and summer months we have also hauled Leroy to many ranch rodeos, along with helping the neighbors brand calves . He has plenty of run and rate to be a great rope horse and has great cow sense to box and cut a cow! He has a lot of look on the flag and always gives you 100%. Leroy would make a great team sorting horse as well. This cool gelding has sorted many cattle in the feedlots and working pens and he is the type of horse that wants to help out! The best thing about Leroy is you can give him time off and he stays quiet and gentle with no silliness or trouble. Leroy also does well around heavy equipment, traffic, crossing obstacles and dogs.
