LOCATION: Crab Orchard, KY

Joker is a very beautiful 11 year old Appaloosa gelding. He stands 14.3 hands tall and is very thick and stout. Joker has a wonderful conformation. He is well-built and athletic. Joker has a personable disposition, is gentle and easy going. Joker has had 6 months professional reining training. He will one-step lope, do complete 360 degree spins, and side passes. He also works off leg cues, is soft in the bridle and takes the correct leads when loping circles. His lope is a super soft rocking chair type lope that is so easy to sit and ride.

Joker is also an exceptional trail mount and has been ridden and enjoyed by our whole family. He will go up and down steep hills with ease, crosses creeks, logs, mud and ditches and handles all sorts of terrain.

Joker has been used to check fences and cattle. He has been pasture roped off of, and used to sort cattle. We’ve even taken him to a cattle round up where he helped catch, move and sort a few hundred head of cattle and done an outstanding job at it too! He is also used to sheep, and has even had goats, cats and dogs in and out of the stall and pasture with him and is very familiar and great with that.

He has been shown at local fun shows and does great with the lights, noise and commotion. He is completely traffic safe and has been ridden to town on many occasions. Joker does great with whips, tarps and guns as you can see in the video. He is not a horse that has to be ridden every day. Joker stays the same even if he has not been ridden over the course of several weeks. He is gentle and safe enough for most anyone that knows how to ride. He is handy, fun and easy to ride. Joker is easy to catch, he loads and hauls great, stands for farrier, is patient in the cross ties and stands to be mounted.
