I want to show you a cool, cool gelding that we have owned and enjoyed for the past year. If you need safe, I got it. If you need versatile, I got it. If you need pretty, I got it! If you need that once in a lifetime gelding, I invite you to take a look at Frosty!!

Frosty is a 4-year-old 1/4 draft 3/4 quarter horse that has the laid-back draft personality with the quarter horse athleticism. Frosty has a nice solid foot and big bone and stands at the perfect height of 15.1 hands. Frosty rides English or western and rides great in the arena and he picks up both leads and is soft in the bridle. Frosty also rides great outside in a group or goes out by himself with no fuss. He goes wherever you ask him, making him perfect for someone that needs to build confidence. Frosty goes through water, over logs and is sure footed in rough terrain. Frosty has been ridden by small children and elderly folks and he takes care of his rider no matter the situation. Frosty is safe for beginners and I think he would make a great lesson horse because he is so patient and loves people and attention. We have used Frosty to rope steers, and have used him on the head and the heel side. Frosty is not afraid of a day's work whether it is and all-day trail ride or roping and doctoring cattle. Frosty stays the same every single day whether he is ridden daily or once a month. My 7-year-old brother was the first one to ride him after he had been idle for a month with no warm up.

Frosty also drives. We have hooked him to the buggy and taken him to church and to town. I think anyone would be able to drive him.

Frosty is traffic safe and I don't know if there is anything out there big enough to scare him. We have exposed Frosty to bouncy balls, flapping tarps and all kinds of obstacles and he takes in with no spook. Frosty is a very easy keeper and needs no extra maintenance. Frosty does well inside or turned out in a mixed herd.

We have owned Frosty for a year and we have enjoyed every part of it. He is up to date on farrier, dewormer and had his teeth done in December. Frosty is safe and 100% sound and ready to move into his forever home.
