Texas Blue Doc Olena, AKA Doc, is a 2017 black APHA gelding that stands 14.3HH. Doc has been in our program for the past 3 months, and he has been so easy and fun to ride and enjoy! Doc is a perfect partner for anyone wanting to enjoy anything from working cattle to obstacles or a group trail ride! He is great inside or outside of the arena and does not have any stable vices. No matter the amount of time off, Doc does not have any buck, bite, bolt, rear, or kick. He is the ultimate trail blazer and will go anywhere you point him without hesitation. He does not spook at any type of machinery, traffic or wildlife while out riding! Doc has been used extensively for ranch work. He is very well oiled when it comes to opening gates, sorting cattle, or dragging calves.

Doc is also great inside of the arena! He will walk, trot and canter both English or western! He will side pass, pivot on his haunches and backs up with ease. He would be perfect for someone wanting to compete in the cowboy obstacle challenges or the stock horse competitions. He will also collect up on the bridle for the English classes at the fun shows and even pop over a little cross rail!

Back at the barn, Doc blooms with personality and loves attention. He will meet you at the front of his stall and always has his ears up! He stands great for the farrier and is a great patient for the vet. Doc does great in all types of herds, loads, unloads and stands tied all day long. He is easy to clip, saddle, groom, and bathe. Doc is UTD on all his needs including his 5-way vaccination, dental, Coggins, shoeing, and worming. He did pass a PPE exam and that is available to all interested individuals.
