LOCATION: Crab Orchard, KY

Dallas is a beautiful buttermilk buckskin Quarter Horse gelding. He stands 15.2 hands tall, is 4 years old and has a great conformation and disposition. We have owned Dallas for a year now and he is an awesome ride! Along with his outstanding riding qualities, he also knows a few tricks! At your command he will lay down (from both the ground and the saddle) and he will sit like a dog! Dallas also side passes to a mounting block, or whatever you choose to mount him from.

Dallas is also an excellent riding horse with a one-step lope that is super smooth and slow. He will lope circles both ways, taking the correct leads both ways and he is really soft in the bridle. He one-hand neck reins, backs and has a nice big stop. He will pivot 360 degrees off of his haunches and side passes both ways. He is also an excellent trail horse as we have ridden him many miles on all sorts of terrain. He will go up and down steep hills, cross logs, creeks and mud with ease and is surefooted on even the most rocky terrain. We’ve also used Dallas to work, move and check our cattle and to check fences and pastures. He has even been pasture roped off of and used to help work and sort cows at the stock yards. Dallas is such a great mount to ride for just about whatever you would want to go do. He has been around other livestock such as cows, sheep, goats and he is even used to the dogs and cats running around at the barn. We’ve used him to pony colts to break them to lead. Dallas is good with tarps, whips and guns as you can see in the video. He tacks up quiet, is quiet in the stall and stands patiently in the cross ties. He hauls great, stands for the farrier and loves a bath. Dallas is also completely traffic safe and has even been ridden to town. He is an all around amazing horse.
