"Boomer” is a 6 year old gelding standing 15 hands. He’s the go-to that will bring his all. He’s exceptionally cowy, efficient to sort on, tracks cattle exceptionally well on the outside, been heeled on in the arena and much much more. His favorite thing to do is cruise around the ranch or down a trail head. We have enjoyed all kinds of different country on the back of this great gelding, he is the kind of horse you can spend all day on! Travels out confidently by himself or with other horses. He is remarkably surefooted; you can count on him to pay attention and navigate any terrain you put in front of him. Gets around great in the rocks, makes his way up & down shifty or steep embankments with ease. You’ll love taking him for a spin in the arena! Boomer is a naturally good mover, he carries himself well, has a good stop, easy back up, side passes to open/close gates. His neck rein is solid & true, stays right between your bridle reins. He has a ton of grit and heart and never quits on you, he’s seen his fair share of hard days work on the ranch in the spring and fall works. Boomer is completely sound. No maintenance, no injections, no special shoeing or anything of the sort. He is equipped with the skills and demeanor to excel in a wide array of disciplines.
