Badger, as we call him, is a 7yr old 15 hand Grulla Dun quarter horse gelding that is a blast to ride.

Badger is well trained in the arena. He picks up both his leads and has a good stop. Badger neck reins, sidepasses and spins both ways. Badger is calm and laid back making him very easy to get along with. I think Badger would suit about any level rider. You can also ride him bareback and without a bridle if you so choose.

Badger loves attention making him a barn favorite. Badger also rides great outside of the arena and he has been on miles of trails. We took him right down the main highway into town and he doesnt mind any of it. We have also taken Badger right into the local hardware store.

Badger rides in a group or goes out by himself with no fuss. We have exposed Badger to flapping tarps, boucy balls and all kinds of obstacles which he doesn't mind any of it.

Badger gets along with other horses and does well with a mixed herd. Badger also rides English and we have taken him over small jumps and he enjoys it. We have also used Badger to gather cattle and check fences here on the farm. Badger is very versatile making him the go to horse. Badger stands for the farrier and to be bathed. Badger also stands be tacked and mounted. Badger always rides the same whether you use him everyday or once a month. Badger is up to date on farrier, dewormer and had his teeth done in September.
