Tietjen Performance Horses is very pleased to offer another of our select geldings. All the horses we offer to the public go through our training program and are used extensively on our ranch. For almost 30 years we have raised and trained quality horses as well as cattle. In this way we can ensure that any horse we offer is sound mentally and physically as well as being trained to our very high standards.

With that being said, we bring you Wimpys Buck BBB aka Romeo. He is a 2015 registered AQHA buckskin gelding that stands 14.3hh and is very thick. As you will see in our video and I know it’s rather long, but well worth watching.

Romeo has been put in a lot of different situations. He has always handled them with the same levelheaded ease and grace. His disposition is outstanding, always patient no matter the rider or situation. Romeo takes bridleless to the next level. He will trail ride, do the obstacle course, and rope cattle with nothing but a neck rope. We have used Romeo for lessons with riders ranging from 4 to 70+ years old.

He has been trail ridden in a very wide variety of terrain from flat open areas to steep, rocky, rugged timbers, as well as the busy streets of town. He is traffic safe and that includes bicycles.

Romeo has been used to gather cattle, sort pairs and pasture rope. He tracks cattle very nicely and works a rope well. We have also used him to move horses, halter train and start colts. He loads in a stock and slant load trailer with ease. He stands tied, hobbles, bathes, fly spray and loves the leaf blower. I know your farrier will love him because ours sure does.
