Trail Horse- Best Friend

"Vegas" is a 12 year old grey Appendix gelding standing at 15H that we bought as a barrel prospect. It has become obvious he does not want any part of horse show life. He really prefers walking and does great on trails so I am selling him as a trail horse. I would consider him a good mount for an intermediate rider rather than a beginner due to the fact that he is not bomb proof. He walks over logs, creeks, etc but will get anxious and prance about if he hears a gunshot or something. He has excellent ground manners and loves attention. My 7 year old can easily handle him. He just hasn't been used for anything except pushing cows and trail riding so I don't recommend him for any type of showing. He does much better on trails than in the arena. He has current coggins, feet have been trimmed every 6 weeks (currently barefoot), has had a back alignment and massage, and is the easiest horse ever to load in a trailer. He does fine with both men and women. My 14 year old daughter is the one who has ridden him the most. Really hate to sell him because he is just so sweet but she needs something she can compete with.
