He Does first level dressage and jumping 2'9”, enjoys trail riding and is very good at it. He would make a perfect amateur/young rider horse or for an adult that wants an extremely easy going disposition and laid back temperament.
He is brilliantly smart, loves to learn, has a level head, and tries extremely hard to please his rider. His extreme desire to bond with his rider will make you fall in love with him. He loves to spend time with you excels at any job you give him…Eventing, Trail Riding, Dressage, he could also do hunters, did I mention he will even help you with your lunch and fix fences?
This 15.3H , 9 yr. old gelding is UTD on all health, shots, coggins, farrier. Also ties, cross-ties, loves baths, trailers well, clips, excellent for vet and farrier.
This horse is a sensational mover and will win on the flat all day long. With gorgeous movement that is stunning to watch. Athletic, elastic, energetic (with no crazy), he rides soft in your hands, with beautiful collected gaits. This horse truly makes each ride a beautiful dance.
Although Maverick is still learning himself he is very forgiving of his riders and enjoys working with students that are learning too. He spent several years as a lesson horse and adored the students he worked with and his job.

Maverick's Fun Fact - This healthy strong TB has never raced and bears a very special mark. The Prophet’s thumbprint. Historically, a horse with the prophet’s thumbprint was considered to be ‘very special’, as they were thought to be descendant of one of the five mares marked by the prophet Mohammed for being loyal and brave. The story was that the Prophet Mohammed was wandering in the desert with his her of horses for many days, and as they approached an oasis he sent them forth to drink. As the thirsty horses approached the water he called them back. Only five of his mares stopped and returned to him, and to thank them for their loyalty and bravery he blessed them by pressing his thumbprint into their necks. It is believed that each horse that bears such a mark will be outstanding, being a descendant of one of these brood mares that the Prophet Mohammed treasured. Read more
