If this horse doesn’t catch your eye, I really don’t know what will. This has to be one of the best-looking Appaloosa horses I’ve ever seen. Masquerade is one to get surely noticed. He has color for days, spots in all the right places and look at that tail! You don’t find too many appys that have a tail like he does. He is one of those horses that just looks good from every angle. Masquerade is 13 years old and sticks 15.2 hands making him a great size. He is built very well, has a nice head, a kind eye and has perfect conformation.
This gelding isn’t only easy on the eyes, he’s also very well trained to ride. Rides English and rides western. He does both quite well and I really don’t find him to do one better than the other. Moves off leg pressure, good transitions, knows his leads, has good brakes, a soft mouth and rides in a snaffle bit. Lopes circles nicely and is a beautiful mover with very comfortable gaits. Safe and quiet under saddle for any level rider. Masquerade is a push button ride, when you ask for it, he does it and he does it willingly. This guy is great at jumping and will jump well with great scope. He does not get forward over the jumps and will go right back down to a walk with no problems. He rides around the arena wonderfully and stands still for mounting at the block or on the ground. I was told this gelding has been previously shown and I would tend to believe that by the way he rides so he could easily go right back into the show ring this upcoming show season. If you aren’t a show or ring rider that’s ok because this gelding is fabulous on the trails and rides on the buckle with his ears forward. He happily goes wherever you point him. Masquerade does ride out alone or with others and he is not herd or barn sour. Completely road and car safe. He is an enjoyable relaxing ride to take down the trails.
Masquerade is 100% sound, up to date on everything and has no vices. He is barefoot with nice big feet, and I feel there’s no reason to shoe him because he goes right over gravel and down the road with no issues. Most Appaloosas have nice hard feet, and he is one that does. Very sweet, in your pocket personality. You can touch and brush him all over. Great to clip, bathe, trailer, tack up and bridle. He is an easy keeper that requires no maintenance or supplements. Lives inside or out and gets along with all others or he can be turned out alone. Currently he is blanketed. A very nice horse to have in the barn with great stall, barn and pasture manners. Located in Allentown NJ 08501. We know a lot of great transporters that go all the US and into Canada. Serious buyers are welcome to come meet and ride our horses by appointment. Be sure to check out his video, it’s long but very extensive and shows everything this great gelding can do.
