Zoe is an 8yo 15.2hd chestnut quarter-horse mare. She is a beautiful, full-bodied mare with a flirty personality. Zoe is the type of horse that acts like she doesn't want your attention and then melts as soon as she gets it. Her person can be someone other than the most experienced equestrian, but confidence in her handler is essential. She is brilliant and will know if you are timid and will quickly learn how to push your buttons. She is an excellent trail horse who will go wherever you ask and is fearless in leaving the group and exploring independently. Zoe will not only lead a group but is just as happy to be last. With her sure-footedness on the trail, you can trust her on narrow and steep terrain. Riding on the road, by trains, and at night Zoe will not disappoint you. She will cross bridges and go through water. Zoe rides nicely in the arena doing the introductory walk, trot, and canter. She also knows her leads and backs but would need some finishing work to get her to canter/lope at a more steady and consistent pace. If someone wanted to ride a more specialized discipline with her, Zoe learns quickly and is flashy enough to make a quality showhorse. Zoe travels quietly and settles fast in a new location, making her an easy companion you can depend on out on a new trail or in the show arena.
