Simona is a beautiful red varnish grade Appaloosa mare that is 9 years old, and stands 15.1 hands tall. We got this mare on from a very nice lady who was just needing a smaller mount and wanted to go gaited. She had nothing but good things to say about this mare and everything she told me about her as proven to be absolutely true! One thing about the mare is she chose to ride her in a bitless bridle (which we have also done) but we also ride her in a bit as you will see in the video. This is a gentle mare that is really easy to get along with! She walks quietly, has a nice trot and a smooth canter. Simona is a great trail mare that most anyone can easily enjoy!
