Showgait Frank is an unique, one of a kind mule.

We raised Frank from a yearling, trained him, then sold him to a friend when he was three where she and her grand kids rode him thousands of miles. She had Frank until circumstances forced her to sell him last year.

Frank is a 11-year old gaited john mule standing 14 hands tall. He is a beautiful tri-colored spotted which is almost impossible to find. Frank has been rode in all types of terrain and will go most anywhere including crossing ditches or logs. He has a very pushing forward fast flat walk and gait that will leave most other horses behind while riding in a group. I will say it again, Frank has a fast flat walk and gait that will leave other gaited horses and especially non-gaited horses behind on the trail. If riding in a group, Frank prefers to be in the front. He is the lead horse/mule when trail riding. Frank loves to set the pace and doesn’t get spooked. He prefers to pick his way through the terrain and will do it safely. Frank has a smooth medium speed gait and a nice lope. He does fine riding by himself and does better when he has a consistent job to do. Frank would love to be able to go to work every day.

Frank is a safe dependable animal but does better with someone who is experienced with mules. He is desensitized to a variety of stimuli from kites and balloons to tarps and leaf blowers. Frank also has a ton of personality. He is almost like having a mule with a human mind. Frank is good around dogs. He is easy to saddle and tack along with standing perfectly still to mount and dismount. Frank rides in a bit or halter. He loads, rides, and unloads in a trailer with no problems. Frank does great with farrier. He doesn’t have any of the typical “mule issues” with you touching his ears, legs, or hooves.

A person could look for a lifetime and never find another animal like him. For more info or to come and meet Frank for yourself, give us a call/text!!
