Shotgun is a 9 year old, grey quarter horse gelding. He stands 14.3 hands tall making him nice and easy to get on but is stout enough to carry any size rider. If you like a super quiet and gentle horse that anyone from the kids to grandmas, to the total beginners can ride and get along with, then Shotgun is exactly that. We have ridden him on our dude ranch and he is an excellent trail mount. Go anywhere you ask him to on the trail and is very laid back and easy going. Trail rides all day long on a loose rein. Ride him double or bareback. Nothing phases him. Let him sit for long periods of time without being ridden and he will stay good, broke and gentle. Nice neck rein, good stop, and backup. Easy to catch and very friendly. Good for the farrier. We have used him to work cattle, is a good cow horse and will make someone a nice ranch horse also.
