Rock of the Bay
Jennijoe Stables and Bryan Biggs Training Stables are proud to offer Rock of the Bay. Rock is a beautiful dappled bay gelding. He is gold paper registered with the MFTHBA. Rock has the finest conformation and easy disposition you are looking for.
Rock has been ridden on many miles of trails, obstacle courses, and up and down the river. Rock is sure-footed and good-minded. During our trips with Rock on the trails, he has been trailer to overnight rides, on day rides, and been ridden out alone. We have taken him to horse shows and cattle sorting events too. He is such a level-headed horse.
During our training with Rock, one of the things we have loved the most about him are his gaits. He has a wonderful gentle dog walk. We tend to ride slower on rides, and he is so easygoing. He also has a wonderful fox trot. He can really cover some ground if you ask him to. He is very smooth in his gaits; as you can see in the video, there is minimal movement in the saddle from the rider while fox trotting. That is ideal when riding trails all day long. Rock has a great short lope too. He uses the correct leads and transitions easily.
Rock is a great all-around family horse. He is stout enough for the rocky hills and mountains but gentle enough to pack our babies around. He stands while mounting from the block or the ground and is patient until you are ready to go with him. We are so pleased with Rock and his incredible disposition and attitude. He is a real pleasure.
