Joker’s Rum is an absolutely stunning horse!!! He is a deep chocolate color with a bright flaxen mane and tail. He is a very stocky built 14.3H, a 2016 Model, Registered Rocky Mountain Gelding! Rum is a quiet, gentle-minded horse that just enjoys going down the trails. He is a horse that all ages (as seen in his video), from 5 years old to the oldest of riders, will love Rum. He is suitable for all ability levels, from novices to seasoned veterans. Rum has lots of experience as has been trail ridden and camping across the USA from MO, IL, IN, TN, and KY to ND, SD, WY, and SC.

We have had Rum at fun shows, and he is a steady Eddie even around the crowds, bright lights, kids running around, banners blowing in the wind, baby strollers, car lights, and loudspeakers! Rum is easy to catch, clip, bathe, tack up, load, and handle. He has that famous Rocky Mountain 4-beat gait, and he is smooth!!! In addition to gaiting, he has a very nice short lope, a quick stop, and neck reins some as well. He has been ridden around farm equipment, ATVs, over large noisy tarps, and has also had guns shot off of his back while I was coon hunting. He has been ridden miles in the mountains and encountered every obstacle on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure-footed. He has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic safe around cars, semi trucks, logs, and dump trucks. He has a great personality and a great attitude about whatever he is asked to do.
