Red is a 15 year old gaited horse. He is 14.3 hands tall. Red has been in our family for the last 7 years. He is the ultimate trail/family horse!!

Red has been my daughter’s main trail horse for the past several years. She has also shown him in 4-H where he has won several trophies in the gaited rail classes and pattern classes. She has also used him in the fun classes as well, egg and spoon, baby bottle.

He is a true gem of a horse!! Whenever my daughter doesn’t go riding my husband and myself ride him. You can walk all day with quarter horses or put him in gear and move on down the trail. You can lead the pack with 20 horses, pull him up and ride in the back or middle and he doesn’t get excited. He has been on many over night trips and stands on a tie line with no problems. He is an easy keeper!! He doesn’t go off his feed or water while camping.

Red can be rode by any level of rider. He has been many peoples first ride from adults to children. Our 86 year old grandfather has rode him the past several summers as well. Red is always the ultimate gentleman for grandpa to saddle and mount him.

Red is a sweet, kind boy. He is easy to catch, clips like a dream! You can load him in any trailer, on the front back or middle and he will back out. Stands excellent for the farrier, a bath and for small children to love on him. For that reason alone, he is always a barn favorite! We have used him to pony colts through the woods and fields as well.
