"Montana" is our 16 year old chestnut QH mare. She stands at 14.2 hands on the dot. She is very well built and muscled throughout, take a look at her lines and you'll see why! A Cordero granddaughter with Coosa lines on the bottom and a Zips line on top! She neck reins, responds to leg aids, light on the bit and stops on a dime. Transitions easily from w/t/c. She has miles of trails under her belt, walks on a loose rein with a nice low head in the woods and in the arena. We even pulled the kids on a sleigh behind her during the recent snow fall! Goes wherever you point her without fuss, has been ridden by riders of all levels, kids included. She's a very in your pocket horse and loves attention. Easy keeper in the field and stall, easy to catch. She is usually lowest in the pecking order in the field. Sound, No vices, leads, loads, stands for farrier, ties, bathes, etc. Stands to be mounted to! She will make anyone an excellent trail partner, kid's horse to hop on and ride around the farm, 4H, etc. She can go any direction you want to take her.
Selling due to no fault of her own, we would love to see her go to a home where she's doing more than being in the pasture. pm for videos! Call - Phone number removed - to setup day/time to come see her! We have an indoor arena so weather is not an issue. Asking $4000 obo, willing to make a deal for cash in hand.
