Sweetheart Registered Quarter Horse mare. This lady has “been there, done that”! She was trained and shown in hunter and western prior to coming to me nine years ago. I bought her for my daughters to take hunter lessons on. They have grown up and no longer have time to commit to riding. She is a consistent and honest mare, always giving her all. She is sound with no health or behavior problems. Her feet are excellent. Ive never had to put shoes on her regardless of the terrain. The last several years I have ridden her on trails. She goes wherever you ask. She lounges, loads, crosses water and tarps, isn’t bothered by motorcycles, tractors or dogs. She is very easy to handle. She could make a good lesson horse or beginner horse with just a little time spent on her. She does good to pull from the field and ride but may need an intermediate rider at first. She foaled a few years before I got her and had no problems. She’s too good of a mare to leave standing in my pasture because I don’t have time to give her. I know what it’s like looking for a good horse and hate to have one and not use her.
