Rusty is a 16-year-old Paint/Quarter Horse gelding with a heart of gold and years of experience under his belt. Standing around 15 hands tall, he has been a dependable partner for ranch work, trail riding, and carrying the grandkids. Now that his previous owner's grandkids have grown up, he is looking for a new home where he can continue to be a steady and trusted mount.
Rusty is the perfect horse for a beginner rider. He neck reins with ease, transitions smoothly through his gaits, and has a naturally comfortable ride. So much so that you can even ride him with just a hay string around his neck! He stands patiently for both mounting and saddling, loads and unloads quietly, and gets along well with both mares and geldings. In the pasture, he is easygoing and never a troublemaker.
