Margaret is a 9 year old Percheron X Standardbred mare. She is a bit over 15.2h and weighs 1250 pounds. She is broke to ride and drive. I have done neither with her so I can not say how well, but she is a former Amish horse so you know she's had a ton of miles put on her. She is easy to handle, stands for the farrier, ties well. Higher up in the pecking order. She is blind in one eye and is well adjusted. She has a scar that does affect hoof appearance, but as long as you keep up with farrier work it should be fine. She is solid built and very correct, one of the nicer draft crosses I have met. She currently sells as broodmare sound, as she recently bowed a tendon. With time off I would expect her to be able to be put back into work. She walks, trots, and lopes in the pasture with no issue. She sells open, but we could discuss breeding her to my AQHA blue roan stallion at a reduced rate. Only for sale because I recently purchased a mare that is better suited to my breeding program.
