If you are looking for a gentle giant to ride on all of your spring and summer adventures, Pepper is your girl.
Big, Flashy and Sweet. She is easy to ride and handle in every way. She is not spooky, smooth to ride, and easy to control, despite her size.
She has been exposed to many odd objects, screaming kids, barking dogs, bikes, skateboards, nerf guns, bouncy balls, tarps, plastic bags, cows, traffic, tractors and SO much more without a second thought. She walks right through anything on the trail and doesn’t balk. We have taken her on many trail rides through town, in the mountains and through open fields.
She has been ridden english and western and does great in both disciplines, she has even gaits and listens well to the riders cues. She collects and is extremely soft and supple in just a plain snaffle, she moves off leg exceptionally well. She side passes at a walk and trot with ease. She also has an amazing stop and is light in her front end. She has extreme dressage potential and has been started on basic flat work and even over a few cross rails.
Bridleless, bareback, double, you name it she’s done it and does it with ease.
She isn’t intimidating, has great ground manners and looks to you for guidance.
She is the first one to meet you in the pasture and loves to give hugs. She also gets along with other horses great, she is towards the bottom of our herd of 15 mares.
Pepper is great with her feet and is easy to trim. She doesn’t require shoes and has great big hard feet that are strong and healthy with no abnormalities. She has straight legs with the perfect amount of bone to hold up for many years to come.
She ties quietly alone, stands for saddling, bridling and blanketing and loads right up in any trailer and backs out with no issues.
She lunges great using natural horsemanship methods with or without a line and stops on “whoa”
She is great with time off and doesn’t get hyper or uncontrollable.
Pepper is not mareish in the slightest… EVER. She might as well be a gelding. She just wants to receive love and she will give it back to you 10 fold.
Come meet this special, one of a kind mare. They don’t come around like this very often.
