Patrick is the own son of Zirocco Blue VDL, who has won multiple Nations Cups and even was secured for the 2016 Olympic Games, and consistently passes on good reflexes and technique to his offspring. Patrick’s dam’s sire, Oklund is a KWPN approved stallion. There is an abundance of scope coming from the dam line proven by numerous half-siblings to Patrick competing at 1.40cm through 1.60cm level. Currently Patrick resides in Ocala, Florida where he was bred and trained. From his first steps, Patrick was friendly and exceptionally curious about the world, ready to make his mark. He was eager to learn and picked up on groundwork training quickly. You can touch him anywhere- work on him from any angle, and he’ll stand like a dream. He even knows how to come to you for you to get on, whether you’re mounting him from a stool, fence post, any part of nature on the trail, he’ll move his body right over to you and stands like a statue. He took to riding seamlessly, responding like he’s had a saddle on before. After a short few weeks of riding and learning in a round pen, he confidently marched right into a busy ring and didn’t bat an eye. Comfortable in the ring and can easily flat around with other horses. He has good lateral work, easy and smooth transitions, and is now learning to go over small jumps under saddle. This young horse can achieve any goal set before him.
