“Patonio” is a 9 year old 15 hand jet black gelding. He has the heavy bone & feathered foot that we all love in a draft cross with a docile demeanor to boot!
Patonio is a true gentleman & a pleasure to ride, he has never once faltered in the four years we have owned him. He collects up nicely, moves off your leg and has a beautiful handle. Perfect example of “one hand broke”! Patonio floats his gaits, picks up his leads & stops on a dime. He has all the the fancy buttons, he is BROKE!
Nothing phases this level headed gelding. We’ve rode him extensively on trails and out in the pasture, we have not found a single thing that bothers him. He will ride through flappy tarps, across water, up steps, through the busy traffic of town- you name it! Patonio is gentle and safe for anybody.
Patonio is fantastic to shoe, loves to be groomed and is a really nice horse to be around. He stands perfectly still to be saddled and mounted, he will not move off until asked.
He is owned and trained by Leroy Schrock who put a phenomenal start on this horse & has made him into the upstanding equine citizen he is today!
Sound, sane and up to date on routine maintenances such as shoeing, vaccines, teeth, etc. Sells as grade.
