Mamoo (JC: Mamooguska) offered for partial on-site lease in Laurinburg NC. Mamoo is a 2009 model bay OTTB. I have had her since 2019 and now that I am in college I don't have the time to ride her as often as she deserves. She got about 3 weeks off when I went home for Christmas and was the same horse when I came back, even after no work. She is not marish but is also not the puppy dog type. She likes to keep her riders safe, I have put beginners on her and she will stay at the walk and require a lot of convincing to even get a small trot if she doesn't think you are okay to go faster. But if she trusts you she will put 100% effort into whatever you ask of her at any speed. I would suggest her to at least an intermediate rider for the best results.

I showed her in 4H, open shows, and on my high school equestrian team. I have ridden and/or shown her in everything from dressage to equitation to saddleseat to ranch riding and gymkhana. Lately we have spent time focusing on our dressage and she has competed in intro with me but we school training level and some first level figures. Her arthritis limits her from getting much of an extension so we haven't pursued anything higher at this point and high costs of shows have kept us from competing more. In 2022 she was leased from February to July by a teenager who rode her western and she did well with it.

Due to her arthritis and past racing injuries, she is not suitable or safe as a jumper. She came off the track with bone chips in both knees but rehabbed well from surgery. Vet X-rays have confirmed that she is healed but that she would not hold up to a career as a jumper.

Mamoo is boarded at a farm in Laurinburg with 24/7 turnout. There is an outdoor arena with lighting, a round pen, wash rack with hot and cold water and tack will be provided. I have english and western tack for her that will be available for use. She is offered for on-site lease 3 days a week (which days those will be is available for discussion). Lease price is 250/month (term negotiable) all other expenses covered by me.
