Barney is a 7 year old 15.2 hand crossbred that is stout and handsome as they come! He is clean legged with nice hooves and free from scars or blemishes. He is easy to groom/bathe and tack up, good with fly spray and handles his hooves. Barney has a naturally quiet mind set and really is unfazed by everything we have thrown his way. He has drug a sled with someone in it, carried a flag, had a ball bounced around him and thrown at him as well as rolled between his legs etc and always stayed cool and collected. We have ridden him bareback and double and he was a gentleman for both. Barney has beautiful movement under saddle and is very smooth to ride. He has spent the majority of his career being a trail horse but could easily tune up for the arena in no time. I truly believe Barney would make outstanding mount for fox hunting, lower level cross country, hunter paces and like events! He loves trail and will jump anything you point him at !!! He has a nice stop and respects a snaffle and moves off leg nicely. He is easy to load and quiet to haul and unloads calm at new places and rides off confidently without being lunged. Barney would make a lovely addition to a therapy program, lesson program or a great family trail horse. Barney has been to the equine obstacle park where he was a champ at going over and through all the obstacles. He confidently did the moving bridge, rolling platform, multiple ponds, stair case, cake box, water box, teeter totter, cowboy curtain and so much more! Barney sells sound without limitations.
