Why do we adore “Champ” one may ask. Well not only is this guy the most stunning rose grey color with a long flowing mane and tail, a dorsal stripe and light zebra striping on his legs he’s also THE most comfortable horse you will sit on. So comfortable you may mistake him for riding around in a Mercedes’ -Benz. Champ is a 5 year old walking horse gelding. His gaits are smooth and effortless for him and for his rider. He stands 14.2hh making him just the perfect size to mount and dismount anywhere. He’s sure big enough for an adult but also not to big for the kids. Champ has been trail ridden all over the mid west. He’s been hauled around to many state and local parks, been on overnight camping trips, he’s been picketed and has no issue going on adventures. This boy is very brave outside and will go anywhere you ask of him. He will lead the way or fall back and be the caboose. Yes he rides alone and he will ride away from the group if asked. Champ has been swimming down the river with the kayaks and could care less. He has extensive miles on the road and he is ok with all sorts of traffic. Champ has been out after dark and ridden just by the moonlight. He’s helped round up loose horses, and cows. He’s been in the arena as well. This is a very well seasoned boy! He keeps a nice steady gait and is a joy to ride. Champ moves off of seat and leg pressure with no issue. He is the 1st to greet you outside as well. He has A+ ground manners.
