Bandito is a stout built 16-16.1hh, 7 year old, Dun Overo Gelding. Bandito is a well traveled and very versitile horse! I have hauled him to team sorting events, he has been started on both ends of the roping dummy, took him out on jobs catching wild cattle with him… you name it and Bandito can do it! He has earned his living working on a ranch outisde of El Paso, Texas, he has been trail ridden in several states, he has been used as an outfitters horse in New Mexico and I’v used him at the stockyards to pen cattle on a few occassions. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Bandito has been used to sort and doctor cattle. He has is “cowy” and knows his way around them. He is safe riding in traffic safe. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, will slide stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! Bandito has a very smooth ground covering walk and he a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone or follow behind with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. Bandito is not cinchy, cold backed, does not crib or weave.
