Nice Calm Mare

Nakota is super nice, friendly mare, with wonderful ground manners. I bought her in August from the sale barn, she had some front foot issues due to neglect from her previous owner. I have her on a oat/alfalfa grain mix, a hoof/coat/joint supplement and a hoof conditioner that I apply daily to her hooves. Due to the care I have given her, her front feet are in much better shape - night and day difference. I have pads and shoes on her front feet now.

She is very calm under saddle, and moves out really well. Her trot is amazing! She loves carrots and would make a great horse for a person wanting to ride a few times a week.
I am willing to consider a trade - provided the horse is well broke - would prefer something gaited but would consider a quarter horse if its the right one.
I am guessing on her weight and height - she is not super chunky, is well rounded, and she is a bit taller. I stand about 5'2 and her back comes up to my nose...Read full description
