This is a brand new youth dressage saddle, designed by George Gullickson who is the innovator behind Equine Inspired. He has designed this particular saddle to fit both horse and rider as closely as is possible with its features such as wool-flocked panels, shoulder relief profile, Welep stirrup bars which allows the rider to adjust his/her stirrup position, which are essential for a correct and well-balanced leg position. The skirts of the saddle are considerately designed with soft leather and padding to allow maximum comfort for the rider at the level of the stirrup bars underneath. The seat is very well balanced and moderately deep. It gently guides the rider into the correct position, discouraging the rotation of the pelvis too far backwards or forwards. It supports without restriction when the rider chooses the correct size of saddle. There are no knee blocks to unduly influence the rider’s legs. This is in order to allow the rider total freedom and not to depend on blocks which may or may not be an advantage.

George Gullickson – is arguably one of the country’s leading equine biomechanical ‘engineers’ who has devoted his time and experience to designing saddles to fit horse and rider correctly. He has worked closely with Frank Baines Saddlery in the UK to achieve the highest standards in saddle ergonomics. In this dressage saddle, the spring tree can be adjusted by qualified saddler for an exact fit. It features wool flocked panels, adjustable Velcro blocks, adjustable WELEP stirrup bars which allow the rider to position his/her legs correctly and with maximum comfort.
