Black, 16 H mule for sale, sadly. I have had Smucker for 4 years, and in all that time he has taken good care of me and we've had a lot of fun, doing long hours on the trail. He's done several LDs, which he loved, finishing top ten in most. He’ll go as slowly or as fast as you want, behind, in front, or in the middle; he has a lovely big stride, trotting along about 9 mph, and he has a canter to die for. Nothing much makes him anxious; he doesn't mind logging operations or farm machinery, traffic, dogs or cows. He's good for the farrier, clips and trailers well (except lately he hasn't wanted to back off). Now the downside: He did a big panic spook in late December, and I was pretty beaten up. I gave him a couple of months off, and I now find that I have lost my nerve on him on the trail. He’s been working well in the arena, but he doesn't like it. This is a lovely mule who wants a job, and his rider can't give it to him.
