Meet Texas Crush! Born 9/8/2015, he is a Red Roan gelding quarter horse standing at 15.3 hands. Previous to 2021, Crush was known as Coyote, and came from a large ranch in Billings, Montana. He is an easy keeper, gentle giant with miles of experience. As Coyote, he had lots of cattle experience and is very cowy. He would lock onto cattle and loved to work. Purchased in Texas, June 2021, Crush has spent the last few years riding the trails of Missouri, Illinois & Iowa. He loves to go camping. Loads/travels easily, settles into stall/pen quickly, ties to trailer, post and high-line. Comfortable with other-new horses in adjacent stalls/pens. Stands for vet & ferrier, tacking & grooming. He "ponies" to a 4x4 vehicle, Lunges on line & free in round pen/arena. Crush is not fazed by loud noises, traffic, roads or machinery. He actually follows me around to see what I am doing. Crush is a big, sturdy boy with 4 white socks, medium whorl above eye level, star & snip. His right ear tip is missing and has a hole the size of my pinkie finger. I've thought about buying him "bling". Last vaccinated March, 2024: West Nile + 3-way Sleeping Sickness + Tet + Flu + Rhino. Crush is curious & loving, bonds with people and other horses. Friendly with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, ducks and has learned to tolerate pigs. Crush responds best to an Intermediate - Advanced rider. Text/email with questions and your best offer.
