Wither bags are an incredible idea for the horse. The bags place the weight over the front legs, closer to the horse's own center of gravity. Any weight placed this way is four times more easily carried than weight placed behind the saddle. Which is why most Australians have only small saddle bags mounted on the rear. These bags are very handy to carry such personal items as sandwiches, drinks, camera, tools, etc. The best part of having these bags is that when you want to get something, you don't have to twist around in your saddle to get it. The underside of the leather is covered in fake fleece to keep it more comfortable for the horse.

The Leather Wither Bags come in Small or Large size. The Small bags are 7" deep , 6 1/2" wide and have a 4 1/2" gusset. The Large bags are 12 1/2" deep, 9" wide, and have a 3 1/2" gusset.
