This is a stunning, completely custom made Wade tree, short skirt Western saddle made by J A (Al) McDearmid of Tallahassee, Florida. It has a Wade tree and a short, rounded skirt, perfect for any gaited or short-backed horse. This beautiful saddle was made for its current owner for Western dressage. The width is Full QH bars which measure 7.5ins concho to concho. The length from front to back is 23ins. This saddle cost over $2000 to have made. It has received light use as can be seen by its condition. The only real ‘blemish’ as such is the staining on the fenders. The tooling on the fenders includes initials – LGW with acorns and oak leaves.
