Ivory is a stocky built, red roan, Kentucky Mountain mare standing around 14.2HH. She is 11 yr old and has a very nice disposition. In addition to standing to mount & dismount, Ivory will neck reign around like a quarter horse with a rein around her neck or simply follow along with the others. She has been camping. We have used her around cattle and trail rode her hundreds of miles. We have ponied other horses off of her and used her for many things! She has been ridden around large farm equipment, across bridges and has also had guns shot off of her back. No matter where she goes or what she does, Ivory is not spooky acting. She has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that she is asked to. She has been ridden many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. She will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across creeks, over downed trees, and through all types of rough terrain. She has been ridden in traffic and is very traffic safe around cars, four-wheelers, motorcycles, & RZR’s. She is one of the friendliest horses that you will find. In fact, she will follow you around & always is the first to greet you in the field: Ivory has a great attitude about whatever she is asked to do.
