Imported 17yr. old Friesian gelding, Sired by Jakob 302 out of Naen 264, the Dam is Sired by Lammert 260. Draco is Registered with FHANA, stands at 16h. & is a stocky, well built, graceful, very athletic, big, healthy, eager to please boy. He is perfect for a Dressage &/or Cowboy Dressage enthusiast & is the complete package with wonderful symmetry & the fairytale look that comes with this magical breed. Draco has been ridden in both English & Western tack & styles. He stands patiently at the mounting block, has had ground work to pull a cart, (I have a Meadowbrook cart if interested as it is sold separately), he knows his leads, even with pilot errors, has a wonderful long over step in his walk & a super balanced trot that will make an amateur look like a Pro. He would be stunning as a Hunter, maybe some jumps with the right training. Draco is a very smart, athletic boy (looks & moves like an 8yr. Old) a beautiful, smooth mover. Also, Draco was imported from the Netherlands & has his passport too. He has quite the personality, lots of forward movement, he is a solid horse, in good health, easy keeper, good ground manners, great for the Farrier, very personal horse with a great mind, loves people, is the 1st one to run up to the gate, will chat with you as soon as he sees you or hears you, can ask him to touch anything, knows some light Liberty training as he’s so easy to train! You can touch him anywhere on his body (he absolutely (LOVES IT) & he’s always respectful. Draco would do best to be ridden Dressage, Cowboy Dressage, Hunter, English, western, obstacle work, you could show him after a tune-up if you wanted? (I have not ridden him on trails in Oregon, but he did with his previous owner in California). Draco was owned by the same lady for 12yrs. & used the same trainer as well for those yrs. so, he’s had a lot of consistency in his life. He is a happy, healthy boy, up to date on all vaccines, regular Farrier, can go with or without shoes & I am only selling so I can get a horse for my Grandson to learn to ride on & grow up with. I would consider an equal trade for a horse suited for young kids. All offers considered.
